Employment Opportunities

Ayars & Ayars, Inc. is always interested in hearing from people looking for a career in construction. If you aspire to work in a casual, family oriented work environment, enjoy working hard (and playing hard), meeting challenges, and growing personally as well as professionally, we invite you to send your resume or apply for employment consideration.

We are able to offer a wider career choice than many companies because we're bucking the trend in the construction industry by self-performing a high percentage of the work done at a typical job site:

  • Concrete
  • Masonry
  • Metal erection
  • Carpentry: rough and finish

Ayars & Ayars, Inc. will conduct business following our Ayars Quality Leadership commitment based on our values of honesty and integrity. In so doing, we:

  • Provide an organized building approach focusing on the needs and expectations of our client;
  • Work toward continually improving all aspects of our operations;
  • Strive towards providing a safe, stimulating and rewarding work environment that promotes the development of leadership and builds teamwork among our employees.

Full-time employees who have worked for Ayars & Ayars, Inc. continuously for six months are eligible for the following:

  • Health Insurance including an Employee Assistance Program
  • 401(K) Retirement Plan

Career Path for Field Employees

Laborer: After time and hard work in a variety of commercial construction tasks, a person with proven capabilities can specialize in one or more of our self-performed trades.

Craftsperson: After doing well in one or more trades such as carpentry, masonry and concrete finishing, a person with responsibility and leadership skills may request to run a crew.

Crew Supervisor: A crew supervisor is responsible for the production, quality of work and morale of a crew. Once a person has successfully run one crew, he or she may begin running one or more jobs.

Jobsite Supervisor: A jobsite supervisor is responsible for ensuring all aspects of the job are on schedule. He or she is also responsible for knowing the budget of that job, plus working with all employees, subcontractors and owners. Once a person is able to successfully run more than one job he or she can become a project manager.

Project Manager: Project Managers are responsible for all aspects of several projects that may be running at the same time, including working with fellow employees, budgets for projects, owners, suppliers, and more.
