Breakdown of Nebraska’s Portion of the Stimulus Bill
$236.4 million for education. $133.1 million for special education/disadvantaged student needs. $13.6 million for unemployment service grants, dislocated worker grants, vocational rehab., and Labor Dept. grants. $32.5 million for public housing/homelessness prevention. $73.5 million for weatherization assistance for government buildings/state energy program. $7 million for Community Service Block Grants.
