Job Summary: Superintendent

Ayars & Ayars, Inc., is a Design-Build General Contractor in Commercial Construction is looking for Full-Time Superintendent located in Lincoln, Nebraska

Job Responsibilities: 

• Provide on-site coordination for all phases of construction projects, including coordinating subcontractors, self performed crews, material, equipment, and inspections
• Ensure specifications and drawings are being strictly followed and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget
• Superintendent shall be responsible for job site safety, project documentation, jobsite meetings, scheduling, inspections, and quality control
• Travel may be required

Job Qualifications and Skills:

• A Great Attitude!
• 3 years of experience in performing building maintenance and construction
• Proficient in reading blue prints
• Proficient knowledge in carpentry and be familiar with door and window installation
• Basic computer skills
• Self motivated and detail oriented

Special Projects Group Carpenter – Lincoln

Job Summary: Special Projects Group Carpenter

Ayars & Ayars, Inc., is a Design-Build General Contractor in Commercial Construction is looking for Full-Time Special Projects Group Carpenter located in Lincoln, Nebraska

Job Responsibilities: 

• The job is designed for small groups of employees to do projects for clients a few days or weeks in duration
• Some projects are new construction, others are remodeling projects
• The majority of the work is for commercial or industrial companies
• This role requires providing project leadership and supervision

Job Qualifications and Skills:

• A Great Attitude!
• 3 years of experience in performing building maintenance and construction
• Demolition experience with removal of walls, flooring, ceilings and doors.
• Concrete experience in forming, pouring, and finishing (footings, poured walls, slabs, sidewalks, steps) a plus
• Masonry experience laying brick, block and/or stone a plus
• Carpentry experience with metal and wood stud framing, drywall hanging, wall sheathing, backing, blocking
• CDL endorsement a plus
• Proficient in reading blue prints
• Must be self motivated and detail oriented
• Able to plan, schedule, order materials, and work with employees and clients
• Basic computer skills

Job Responsibilities: Metals Erection Crew

• Site preparation
• Pouring footings, form work, iron work, sheeting and roofing of commercial and industrial buildings
• Some travel required
• Comply with Ayars & Ayars Inc. company policies and procedures and positively representing the company in all our endeavors
