Sustainable Buildings
Capacity To Endure
August 2017
Sustainable buildings are highly energy efficient, utilize natural resources like materials, result in good indoor air quality, and conserve water. Ayars & Ayars, Inc. has a reputation for minimal environmental impact while delivering economical on-time, on-budget results that meet customer specifications without cutting corners. A couple of great examples are the Homestead National Museum and our home office 48ROCK.
The sustainable building sector is outpacing overall construction growth in the U.S. and will account for more than 2.3 million American jobs this year, according to a new U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) study. The study also found that sustainable construction’s growth rate is rapidly outpacing that of conventional construction. By 2018, sustainable construction will account for more than 3.3 million U.S. jobs–more than one-third of the entire U.S. construction sector.
Demand for sustainable building design will only continue to grow as individuals, businesses and institutions continue to prioritize sustainable approaches to the design, construction, and operations of our built environment.
